     Hi, I'm Jeff Dover photographer of Scenic Splendour.  Thank you for visiting my Web Site.  A native Oregonian, I've developed an ardent passion for the great outdoors.  Photography is simply the means I utilize in my attempts to capture the scenic grandeur that abounds in nature.

     Most of my work celebrates our remaining wilderness areas which otherwise most people may never see.  Personally I favor the remote, wilderness areas.  These areas, purely by their nature, seem to summon reverence and evoke contemplation.  I hope you enjoy the following pages.

What I Offer

     I have thousands of images on 135mm film from the last 35 years.  In 1992 I purchased a Large Format 4x5 film camera, allowing a much higher resolution image than my previous 135mm film camera.  The resolution in the Large Prints from these 4x5 images is surprising, revealing details unseen in previously smaller prints as well as maintaining vivid color saturation.   (see the page on Resolution/Scale & Panels)
